HTML banner developed for Porsche SCG needs. Interactive banner was shown on local popular news websites(Blic, Kurir) and on Facebook. Banner is a static html, but behind it is a cron job which refreshes on regular basis / once per day – that can be tweaked as well. Data is taken from local database and new offer is generated over and over again – we planned that huge number of requests would pour on a server, so we needed to figure out some caching system. We’ve also defined expiration dates , gzip everything needed for client caching as well – all done for fast banner serving.
